The Wedding of Cynthia & Michael

Cynthia approached me in July about her 5-day wedding, planned for October. She had already booked the venue; The Sporting in Monte Carlo but needed my help with planning for the 300 guests. With only 3 months, it was going to be a challenge! Having worked day in, day out, the wedding day approached. We were all very hopeful for the outdoors ceremony having had very good weather (20 degrees) in the lead up. However, our luck turned and on the day the weather was dreadful. Cynthia was ever hopeful that the weather might improve and we were unable to convince her to move the ceremony inside until just 2 hours before! With 2 hours until the commencement of the ceremony we had 300 chairs to move along with the décor including flowers and the Houppa, which was too tall and so had to be cut to a height suitable for the new set up, which was handled extremely professionally by Decoflamme. After a flurry of madness, everything was perfectly in place and under control with 5 minutes to go before the ceremony. Relief was felt all-round and the ceremony went on to be a very moving affair. The after party, held in the “Salle des Etoiles Monaco”, was an incredible success with a fabulous band, delicious food and beautiful décor. The earlier stress completely dissipated with the incredibly grateful newlyweds and the satisfaction of having come together with the team at the venue to host a perfect wedding!
